Phylogenetic tree of viral protein (VP) 1 gene sequences showing the relationship of the Australian echovirus type 4 virus (E4) isolate, AUS250G, to E4 strains, 2 Yanbian strains, and an echovirus type 1 sequence. The tree was constructed in MEGA version 3.0 software (www.megasoftware.net) using the neighbor-joining method with the Kimura 2-parameter model and 1,000 bootstrap replicates.
